Clipboard recovery
Clipboard permissions and copied formats vary by browser and app. The upload path stays available as a predictable fallback.
A copied filename or URL is not an image payload. Copy the visible image or screenshot, then return to this page.
If the button cannot read your clipboard, focus the page and press Command + V on macOS or Control + V elsewhere.
Save the copied image as JPG, PNG, or WebP and choose it directly. The validation and OCR result are the same.
What this release does
Some browsers or embedded webviews deny programmatic clipboard reads, require a user gesture, or expose no image item. PicToTxt keeps the current result intact and explains the keyboard or upload recovery path.
One printed-text JPG, PNG, or WebP; English or Simplified Chinese plus English; editable plain text.
The image and recognized text are not sent to an OCR API, storage route, database, or payment flow.
