Screenshot workflow
A focused crop gives the OCR engine larger, cleaner characters and keeps unrelated on-screen information out of the workspace.
Copy a selected region when your operating system offers it, then paste on the page. Otherwise save the capture and upload it.
Choose the saved screenshot from your photo or file picker. Mobile browsers may not expose image clipboard reads.
Crop away toolbars, chat chrome, tiny side panels, and unrelated text before recognition when practical.
What this release does
Display scaling, antialiasing, compression, overlays, dark-mode glare, and mixed interface sizes can change recognition quality. PicToTxt returns editable text rather than promising a perfect transcription.
One printed-text JPG, PNG, or WebP; English or Simplified Chinese plus English; editable plain text.
The image and recognized text are not sent to an OCR API, storage route, database, or payment flow.
